Summary
The Department of Cyber Security Engineering (CYSE) is currently forming an Advisory Board to have the guidance and knowledge of a distinguished group of executives working on its board. The CYSE Advisory Board will serve both as the Advisory Board for CYSE as well as the GMU Cyber initiative to leverage all the GMU-cyber related people, programs, and sponsors connected to GMU.
The board’s goal is to create synergy between the school and the professional community by addressing workforce development demands, industry expectations, and employment trends for the benefit of GMU students, faculty, and alumni.
CYSE plans to have three co-chairs representing the university, for profit, and nonprofit cybersecurity organizations.

The Department of Cyber Security Engineering (CYSE) is fortunate to have the guidance and knowledge of a distinguished group of executives working on its board. The CYSE Advisory Board serves both as the Advisory Board for CYSE as well as the GMU Cyber initiative to leverage all the GMU-cyber related people, programs, and sponsors at GMU including all the GMU cyber external collaborators/sponsors especially in the DMV.
